Dr. Earle Sullivan

A Charlotte native, Dr. Earle Sullivan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Sullivan formerly held the position of Chief of Dentistry at Carolina's Medical Center, where he is a former member of the teaching staff and remains on staff with senior attending status. Dr. Sullivan has completed extensive continuing education programs in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the world renowned L.D. Pankey Institute and the Dawson Institute. Dr. Sullivan is an active member of the Charlotte Dental Society, and is one of the organization's former presidents. Dr. Sullivan holds active membership with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentists, and is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Dr. John Burd

After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Burd went on to attend the University of Louisville Dental School, Receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.). Dr. Burd joined Dr. Sullivan in our Charlotte office in 1987. Dr. Burd has continued to focus his practice skills in the area of reconstructive crown and bridges as well as in cosmetic dentistry. Through extensive education at the L.D. Pankey Institute and Dawson Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Dr. Burd has achieved advance training to assist his patients in achieving a long-lasting, beautiful smile. Dr. Burd is a member of the Charlotte Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Taso Roupas

Born in Canada, Dr. Anastasi (Taso) Roupas received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Manitoba in 1992. He then completed two years of post-graduate study at the Carolina's Medical Center, doing a general practice residency. Having served as chief dental resident in his second year, Dr. Roupas was involved in the care of traumatic dental injuries, the treatment of medically compromised individuals, and also had the opportunity to work with various dental specialties on a daily basis. Joining the practice with Dr's. Sullivan and Burd in 1994, Dr. Roupas continues to be active at CMC and is a current staff member with senior attending status. Dr. Roupas has completed extensive continuing education in institutions such as the Dawson Institute and the L.D. Panky Institute. This knowledge coupled with his past hospital training has given Dr. Roupas the experience, skill, and compassion to help his patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. He is proud to be a member of the Charlotte Dental Society, where he was a past board member, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Society.
