Digital X-Rays
At Mint Hill Dentistry, we use digital X-rays. They provide us with higher quality pictures and are better for our patients because of their low radiation levels. Unlike traditional, film-based X-rays, digital X-rays show more detail and can be archived in the Mint Hill Dentistry system for future reference. CEREC Scanner for Same Day Crowns
The CEREC system allows the team at Mint Hill Dentistry to take digital impressions of your teeth, teeth shading measurements, and to take high definition pictures of your teeth. This fully digital workflow eliminates the need for traditional impressions (tray full of goo), and allows the dentist to design and mill your new crown while you are at the office. Same-day digital dentistry eliminates the need for a temporary crown and maximizes our patient’s valuable time. This technology puts the dentist in full control of the preparation, design, and manufacture of your crown to ensure a quality result.
CT Scan 3D Technology
At Mint Hill Dentistry, we use state of the art 3D imaging. This technology allows the doctor to see the patient’s anatomy in great detail, allowing for the safe and predictable treatment planning of implants and other surgical procedures. In addition, CT Scan 3D imaging can assist in diagnosing TMJ, impacted third molars, pathology of the head and neck, and assessing trauma.
